We partner with top-tier global freight forwarders and couriers to ensure your wholesale orders, custom OEM/ODM products, and samples arrive safely, on time, and in pristine condition.
This Shipping Policy outlines our processing timelines, available shipping methods, and international trade terms to provide you with complete transparency.
Order Processing & Production Times
Because we specialize in custom manufacturing, processing time (the time it takes to produce and prepare your order) is separate from shipping time (transit time).
Samples & In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 3 to 5 business days.
Custom Custom OEM/ODM Orders: Typically require 15 to 30 business days for bulk production, depending on the complexity of the design, custom dyeing, and order volume.
Amazon FBA Prep Orders: Add 2 to 4 business days to standard bulk production for full FNSKU labeling, polybagging, and master carton prep.
Your dedicated account manager will provide a precise production timeline before you finalize your order.

We ship worldwide from our manufacturing facility. Depending on your budget and urgency, we offer several reliable shipping tiers.
Standard Air Freight
Estimated Transit Time: 10 to 15 business days
Best For: Medium-sized orders balancing speed and cost.
Sea Freight (Ocean)
Estimated Transit Time: 250 to 30 business days
Best For: Large bulk orders and heavy cargo (bedding sets, large garment runs).
Air Express (DHL, FedEx, UPS)
Estimated Transit Time: 5 to 9 business days
Best For: Samples, urgent restocks, and lightweight items (eye masks, scrunchies).
We ship worldwide from our manufacturing facility. Depending on your budget and urgency, we offer several reliable shipping tiers.
Shipping Trade Terms (Incoterms)
To accommodate the diverse needs of our global B2B clients, we offer flexible shipping terms.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
Our most popular option. We handle the shipping, import paperwork, customs clearance, and pay all import taxes/duties. The goods are delivered directly to your door or Amazon FBA warehouse. You pay a single, all-inclusive freight price upfront.
FOB (Free on Board):
We cover the cost of transporting the goods to the nearest export port in China and clearing them for export. You take over the shipping costs and liability from the port to your final destination.
Your goods are securely packed and made ready for pickup at our factory. You arrange your own freight forwarder to collect the cargo directly from us.
EXW (Ex Works)
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
If you choose a shipping term other than DDP (such as FOB, CIF, or EXW), you are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by your destination country.
Maotengsilk ensures all export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, and origin certificates) is accurately prepared to facilitate smooth customs clearance. However, we cannot control or predict specific import tariffs, as customs policies vary widely from country to country.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
We take extraordinary care in packing your delicate silk goods using heavy-duty, moisture-resistant master cartons. In the rare event that a shipment is lost in transit or arrives with visible exterior damage, please follow these steps:
Document the damage: Take clear photos of the damaged master cartons before opening them, as well as photos of any damaged goods inside.
Note it on the delivery receipt: If signing for the delivery, note the damage on the carrier’s proof of delivery.
Contact us immediately: Email your account manager or support within 48 hours of delivery.
If goods are shipped under our DDP or CIF terms, we will file the insurance claim on your behalf and work with you to arrange replacements or a credit.
